WELCOME

I’m Anna, a humanistic counsellor offering online counselling and face-to-face sessions in Brighton and Hove. Is there something in your life you would like to change, process, or learn to accept, but you find it difficult to do on your own? There is strength in recognising when we need support, and power in taking action to find it. As you are visiting this website, perhaps you are considering therapy.

It all starts here, with you. How are you? What brought you here? What is good in your life, and what is not working well for you right now? Are there things that get in the way of your well-being? How are earlier and current experiences affecting you? What are your strengths and resources? You hold the answers, and I believe you just need the opportunity to pause and ask the questions.

If you choose to work with me as your counsellor, I will be right here with you all the way. I will hold the space and what you bring to it, while you move towards acceptance, healing, change, fulfilment, and/or anything else you wish to focus on. Together we will ensure that you feel resourced and grounded enough to challenge yourself in our sessions when you are ready. Therapy is unlikely to be easy, it may at times be painful and difficult, and I believe whole-heartedly that it will be worth it.

For a free, initial 30-minute phone or online counselling session, please fill in the contact form and I will be in touch shortly.

Are you in crisis and need to talk to someone urgently? Contact your local mental health emergency support helpline or call NHS 111 and choose option 2. You can also call Samaritans any time, night or day, free from any UK phone on 116 123.
